For over 60 years, Thursday Morning Roundtable (TMR) has brought Syracuse together to talk about the issues that matter most. Today, we continue that tradition with a renewed commitment: creating an inclusive, judgment-free space where community voices, decision-makers, and experts meet at the same table.

Thanks to a robust partnership with the Syracuse University Lender Center for Social Justice, the roundtable will serve as a vehicle to continue conversations around challenges raised at the Center’s 2025 Community Impact Expo, beginning with housing, community safety and future growth.

Our promise

Each month, TMR convenes voices across Syracuse to share information, exchange perspectives and spark ideas for action. We believe everyone’s voice matters in shaping the future of our community.

When and where

  • Once a month on Thursdays, 8:30-10:30 a.m.
  • Conversations are hosted throughout the Syracuse community—not just on campus—making them more accessible, welcoming and connected to the neighborhoods we’re discussing.
  • Check our season event calendar for upcoming topics, dates and locations.
  • Community centers wanted: We are actively looking for local community centers to partner with us as host locations for future sessions. Interested? Email us at oceed@syr.edu.
